The Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington is located in the 2141 K Street Medical Building. There is a large, gold "Washington Radiology" sign in front of the building. The Breastfeeding Center is in the lobby, across from the elevators.

Metro

The Foggy Bottom Metro station is conveniently located on 23rd Street just a few blocks from The Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington. Go left on 23rd to George Washington Circle. Follow Washington Circle right to K Street. The Medical Building is located on the left side of K Street at 2141. The Breastfeeding Center is in the lobby across from the elevators.

Driving Directions

From Maryland

From Capitol Beltway East/South towards Landover, MD. Exit west off Beltway onto Hwy 50 (John Hansen Hwy).
Highway 50/John Hansen Hwy turns into New York Ave. Continue on New York Avenue into the District of Columbia. New York Ave becomes Mt. Vernon Pl. Turn left onto 9th Street and then right onto K Street. K Street becomes K Street NW/US-29. Turn right onto K Street. We are located at 2141 K Street, NW (University Medical Building - 9 story bldg). A parking garage is available for a daily fee.

From Virginia

Route 395 to Exit 10c. Follow signs to and cross the Arlington Memorial Bridge, bear left at the Lincoln Memorial. Turn left on 23rd Street and continue several blocks to Washington Circle. Take second exit after entering circle onto K Street. At stop light turn left onto 22nd street. Turn right on L Street and go one block to 21st Street. Turn right onto 21st and then go one block to K Street. At light, take an immediate right onto K Street, go approximately 3/4ths of the way down the street. 2141 K Street (University Medical Building) is on the right.

Route 66 East towards Washington until it crosses over Roosevelt Bridge. Stay in middle lane marked Constitution Avenue. At 18th Street make a left. Follow to K Street and make a left. 2141 K Street (University Medical Building) is on the right.

Route 50 and cross the Arlington Memorial Bridge. Bear left at the Lincoln Memorial and turn left on 23rd Street. Continue several blocks to Washington Circle. Take second exit after entering circle onto K Street. At stop light turn left onto 22nd street. Turn right on L Street and go one block to 21st Street. Turn right onto 21st and then go one block to K Street. At light, take an immediate right onto K Street, go approximately 3/4ths of the way down the street. 2141 K Street (University Medical Building) is on the right.

Parking

Limited street and metered parking can be found on K and 22nd St. Convenient valet parking at garage in building for hourly and daily rates. On Saturdays there is additional parking in front of building and in driveway. On Saturdays enter building via phone at front door.

Hours

The Breastfeeding Center is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm during the week except on major holidays.
Our Saturday hours are from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
We are open on Sundays for appointments by calling (202) 293-5182.
